Self Esteem
You might notice elements of low self-esteem in small, everyday ways, perhaps second-guessing your decisions or feeling a quiet sense that you’re not quite good enough. It can show up in relationships too, finding it hard to say what you need, worrying about being too much or not enough, or feeling overly affected by how others respond to you. In a work environment it may show up as imposter syndrome.
Over time, it can be tiring to carry that constant self-doubt, even if from the outside things seem to be going well. Counselling and coaching can help you understand where these feelings come from and begin to relate to yourself differently.
We might explore the thoughts and beliefs that shape how you see yourself - including the voice of the inner critic. Where does it come from, and how does it affect different areas of your life?
Alongside this reflective work, we may also look at patterns and habits that may be keeping self-doubt going. Small practical changes can help create new ways of responding to situations that once felt difficult.
Over time, this combination of understanding and action can support a more balanced and compassionate relationship with yourself.
