We will work collaboratively on the issues that you bring. The pace and scope of the work is led by you and focused around where you would like to be. My style is quite interactive, I am not the type of counsellor who is silent or minimally responsive. My role is to focus, reflect, support, be honest with you and value you for the unique person that you are.

This entirely depends on the issues that you bring. It’s often helpful to look back to understand where patterns of thought and behaviours may have come from but it isn’t always necessary. Part of our work is definitely about what’s happening in the present and what you might like to happen in the future.

No, I am able to work relatively flexibly. However, much of the beginning stages of our work together will be about getting to know each other and building trust within the therapeutic relationship. This is much easier to achieve if we see each other regularly. It is possible to do this fortnightly, it just takes a little longer.

For some reason a therapeutic hour actually lasts 50 minutes! For more in-depth work around a single issue, or if just working in a coaching framework, it’s possible to book 90 minute sessions

Regular sessions are priced on a sliding scale according to your financial situation.

I trust clients to choose the rate that feels manageable and appropriate for their circumstances. I recognise that financial situations are shaped by many factors beyond salary alone.

A limited number of lower-cost spaces are available, and I aim to keep therapy as accessible and sustainable as possible within the limits of my practice.

Yes, I offer a 5% discount on a pre-paid block of four sessions or a 10% discount on any pre-paid block of eight sessions
